Fundamentals of computer networking, from the physical layer up to the Web of Things: Internet architecture and protocols, wireless communication, constrained networks (LPWAN/LoRaWAN), network management, and network security, with hands-on labs throughout.

Machine Perception and Communication

successor to Embedded Sensing Systems

A project-driven exploration of embedded sensing: real-world data acquisition, wireless communication, and security, built around hands-on prototypes. It follows on from our Embedded Sensing Systems course: similar in spirit but redesigned, so students who took Embedded Sensing Systems should note the content is not identical.

Introduction to Machine Learning and Deep Learning
