# Sensing Group

> The Sensing Group is part of the Institute of Computer Science in Vorarlberg
> (ICV-HSG), within the School of Computer Science at the University of St. Gallen
> (HSG), in Dornbirn, Austria. Its research sits at the crossroads of theory and
> practice, exploring sensors and their communication-related aspects in real-world
> applications, under the lens of performance, efficiency, and security. The group
> collaborates with industry partners in the Vorarlberg region and with research
> groups within the School of Computer Science and beyond.
