Introducing our work at the first ICV-HSG CC-Workshop

In June 2024 we took part in the first CC-Workshop of the ICV-HSG, the inaugural edition of what has since become a recurring, cross-industry gathering. The CC-Workshop brings the Institute of Computer Science in Vorarlberg together with companies from across the region for an open, practical exchange around sensing and data, run under the Chatham House Rule. From the start, the idea has been technology transfer in Vorarlberg: connecting academic research with the concrete problems of local industry, and building a stable, ongoing dialogue between the two.
Our talk, Challenges, Opportunities, and Projects in Embedded Sensing Systems, introduced the group’s direction and early projects to the regional industry, and opened the conversation on where embedded sensing can create value for local businesses. It set the tone for the editions that followed.
