Two papers and a student travel grant at IEEE/IFIP NOMS 2026 in Rome
The group presented two papers at NOMS 2026, the IEEE/IFIP Network Operations and Management Symposium, held on 18 to 22 May 2026 in Rome, Italy, in a highly selective year for the conference (53 of 213 full-paper submissions accepted).
Stephan Nef presented the full paper CareNet: Linking Home-router Network Traffic to DSM-5 Depressive Behavior Indicators (with Bruno Rodrigues), an output of his master thesis at HSG (preprint, code).

Karim Khamaisi presented the experience paper Distributed Pulse-Wave Simulator for DDoS Dataset Generation (with Pascal Kiechl, Katharina Müller, Burkhard Stiller, and Bruno Rodrigues; preprint, code). Karim was also awarded a competitive IFIP Student Travel Grant at the closing ceremony. Congratulations, Stephan and Karim!
